zeitlich eingegrenzter Zugriff zum Internet für bestimmte MAC- Adressen

Hallo zusammmen,

ich habe einen Asus WL500gpV2 mit der aktuellen oleg-FW am laufen.
Meine Kids wollen nun auch darüber wireless in's Internet, was aber nur zu bestimmten Zeiten sein soll.
D.h. zum Beispiel:
Eltern-PC (Mac AA:11....) -> jederzeit Zugriff auf das WAN
Kinder-PC (Mac BB:22:...) -> Zugriff auf das WAN von 15:00 bis 20:00 Uhr

Wie kann ich das am Besten umsetzen?

Problem compiling firmware

Hi all,

I am trying to compile a custom firmware (I want to add some stuff that I will be writing for access to usb serial for home automation).
The build server is centos 6.
I followed on all the steps from the custom firmware compilation tutorial from code.google.com
There was one problem regarding location of Kernel files which I fixed by adding another "linux" to path.
Now the compilation fails with the following message:
LPRng/010-gcc-warnings.patch
Can not apply LPRng/010-gcc-warnings.patch cleanly

Any ideas?

Hi all,

I have an Asus WL500 Premium 2, running Tomato firmware, that I previously used to wirelessly access recordings on my Topfield TF5800 PVR.

I'm sure i remember reading somewhere that the Asus can be used like a Wifi dongle or card to connect wirelessly to the internet, but can't work out how to do it and I am very out of my depth with this tecnology. I want to use it to get online on a desktop PC that is upstairs (connected via Ethernet to the Asus) and the WiFi router and phone socket are downstairs.

Thanks in advance, and i hope somebody can help.

Hallo,
wie mein Nick schon sagt benutze ich Linux, Ubuntu 10.04. Ich habe mir vor kurzem einen neuen Rechner gebaut. Hier ist das Asus E45M1-I Deluxe zum Einsatz gekommen.
Auf dem Mainboard ist Bluetooth Modul fest verbaut. Seit Tagen versuche ich nun schon Bluetooth zum laufen zu bekommen, leider ohne Erfolg. Kann mir hier eventuell einer helfen?

Помогите решить проблему - обнулил устройство. Настроил модем. Все работает... Виснет через примерно 30 минут. После чего модем без полного сброса раутера система уже не видит... Сценарий повторяется почти с одинаковой периодичностью. Хотя бы подскажите в какую сторону искать (откатить прошивку, перезалить, еще что то)

Если не отключить usb fs disk в настройках - то виснет на этапе загрузки. Отдельно устройства работают отлично.

Ping and throttling issues with Huawei E367

I have a Huawei E367 21Mbps HDSPA+ modem in an Asus WL500gp v2 and the koppel.cz firmware. I'm noticing two strange things:

1. Ping to the router is fine (under 10ms) but pinging outside is very erratic from 40ms to 800ms, sometimes even packet loss. The strange thing is that this happens only over a Wi-Fi connection, using my hardwired desktop computer or plugging the 3G modem directly to my laptop results in stable ping around 40-50ms.

2. The download speed was throttled, I have managed to boost it by specifying a higher maximum packet size, but the upload speed is still throttled at 0.59 Mbps according to speedtest.net (dozens of tests return this same value).

Any tips are appreciated.

Cześć,
chciałbym odpalić usługę Active Directory dla mojej sieci (router wl500gp v2, 4 komputery, macierz QNAP) tak, żeby z komputerów można było zapisywać dane na macierzy jak na dysku sieciowym. Z tego, co przeczytałem, potrzebuję do tego uruchomić usługę Active Directory. Czy jest to możliwe na tym routerze ASUSa? Być może jest jakiś inny sposób konfiguracji, który pozwalałby na szybki dostęp do macierzy spod Windowsa?

chciałbym odpalić usługę Active Directory dla mojej sieci (router wl500gp v2, 4 komputery, macierz QNAP) tak, żeby z komputerów można było zapisywać dane na macierzy jak na dysku sieciowym. Ik heb een asus wl500g router. Nou is het installeren gelukt. Ook ziet de computer en laptop de goede netwerkverbinding en is de status ervan optimaal, volledig bereik.
Maar als ik wil verbinden lukt het niet. Wat kan dit zijn?

Hallo Asusianer.
Brauche Hilfe vor ein paar Jahren habe ich einen Notebook gekauft und vor kurzem ist die Batterie leer geworden. Ick komme nicht mehr ins Bios und nicht zum Booten. Er fragt nach Bios Passwort. Habe den Serviece angerufen und die haben mir gesagt dass es geht das Board zu reseten, aber er sagte zu mir dass ich in den Foren nachfragen soll da er es nicht sagen durfte.
Bitte um Hilfe wie es geht.

На асусовской 108-й прошивке не подключается к инету через ётовский самсунг u200. Определяет его верно, но к инету не коннектится. Проводок от wan отключаю. Вроде через 60 сек должен переключаться на резерв 3ж/4ж через юсб приложения. Что может быть!?

Hi, because I need the swftools http://www.swftools.org I want to build it via the wl500g-repo openwrt buildroot. (thx ryzhov_al)

but instead of just make - at first I need to make .toolchain_installed
(I'll do the Makefile steps manually, because of integrating the swftools via this guide: http://wiki.openwrt.org/doc/devel/packages)
